What do you love the most about teaching?

I love to pass on my knowledge through discovering different methods of explanation. I like to adapt my teaching styles for each pupil and help inspire the future generations into careers that make a difference. Alongside recent mentoring experience at University, I was President of the Engineers without Borders, Birmingham Branch. This opportunity enabled me to work alongside volunteer members of the society but also volunteer speakers. This role also included leading weekly sessions for students on related engineering topics, organising fundraising and awareness events and encouraging the progression of young people into STEM subjects. I am enthusiastic and cannot wait to pass on my enthusiasm! I offer online tutoring to anyone that would like small or large amounts of help and guidance and believe in learning while doing, encouraging students to work their way through problems with guidance from me - getting the most out of it and developing skills to work alone in the future.
