What do you love the most about teaching?

Teaching is a passion because it is something I love doing personally but its a pursuit I like to instill in others. I often learn a great deal from my students and I challenge them to question and wonder, to really get to the heart of their learning. I believe that learning is an adventure, and as a teacher I am your guide who introduces you to new opportunities and experiences; yet this is a journey we shape together. We shall work together to build an individualized lesson plan that covers your learning goals and pursuits! I have taught English to a range of students from infants up to adults. These classes include school settings, one on one, and in groups of about 5 students. My background is in Elementary Education, but I have also been a resource teacher within a high school and tutor for adults. I hold Bachelors degree in Human Development with an elementary license, as well as TEFL certification with distinction. Currently I am a English Language teacher at a primary school in Madrid, Spain but also teach English online. So overall I have over 4-5 years of teaching experience with students of various levels and abilities! My classes are full of interaction, you help drive the ship. I provide an introduction with built in opportunities to practice what we are learning. Once introduced to a topic we will continue to dive in working on vocab, speaking practice and getting you using the language effectively. Homework tasks can and will be provided to extend your learning in your everyday life, because ultimately that is our goal! I have multiple props, interactive activities, and videos to share and supplement your learning. But also in the end we shall have fun, your will work hard, and you will feel confident and excited about the skills you've learned! Hope to start the adventure with your soon!
