Hello! I'm an enthusiastic teacher who loves to share my language and inspire my students. I try to make my lessons as engaging as possible and one of my favorite things is to see my students truly enjoy learning! I have experience teaching children grades 1 through 5, as well as high school students in an FCE prep course. I write a lot of my own lessons and activities, but I have also used the book series New Treetops. I am a mother tongue English speaker with an internationally-recognized TEFL certification, and have further built my expertise through three years of study in Applied Linguistics. In my lessons, I try to promote natural language acquisition as much as possible. This means using lots of pictures, gestures, and multimedia to enhance the learning process. With older students, I also take a more analytical approach to English, while still making the material accessible and engaging.
