Hello :) Teaching has turned out to be a great passion of mine. I get to connect and learn from many different types of people in different industries and life situations. My students always keep me on my toes, pushing me to constantly expand my thinking and knowledge in my field. I love that my jobs keeps my brain exercised and that I am constantly learning. I enjoy building relationships with my students and getting to understand their learning needs and goals. Watching my students progress is really what makes teaching all the worth while. I have been teaching English for about 5 years now. I started out working for a language school in Cape Town South Africa, but decided to move into online teaching as I wanted to work and travel at the same time. I now live in Germany and work as a business English language coach as well as an English tutor for school and university students. I have built up a great deal of experience over the years and am quite confident in myself as a teacher. I have had great success in helping my students achieve their language goals. My lessons are perfectly customised to the needs of my students. I am a very adaptable teacher and always try to tweak my methodology so that it suits each student perfectly. I believe that every student learns differently, so I make use of specialised teaching techniques to allow the student achieve their maximum potential in the class. My lessons are designed to build every student towards fluency. We will do a lot of speaking practice in the class. Each lesson is centred around a speaking goal that the student will achieve by the end of each lesson. As one of my students, you will receive an interactive PDF document with the entire lesson plan. Included is also free access to mobile APP that allows you to practice the work that was covered in the class. I will provide you with tools to practice your English outside of the lesson as well.
