O que você mais ama no ensino?

Though I work primarily with high school students, I love to help students of all ages and grade levels succeed. To me, nothing is more important than the student's objectives. Because I am often so close in age to my tutees, I understand what they're dealing with and can offer my insight. I have over five years of work experience in education. In addition, I was selected as one of the Top 100 Students Nationwide in 2018. I normally meet my students in Harvard Square and employ a hands-on learning process, wherein the student and I develop an interpersonal connection. This connection allows for more efficacious tutoring and allows students to understand the material more easily. Further, I employ a Socratic teaching method to spark curiosity and genuine interest in the subject at hand. My teaching philosophy is best summarized by the words of Educational Philosopher Thomas Carruthers: "A teacher is one who makes himself progressively unnecessary."
